Mealworm farming

I know this is off topic but...I've been reading the past posts and am up to about page 60 or so. Is there a way to go back to the page I was last on without having to start on page 1? It's tedious to scroll up to my page 5 pages at a time. It seems there ought to be a place to type in the page you want and click 'enter' and voila! the page appears. Just wondering

It used to work that way... I don't think they have that anymore....it was nice.

Whew! Finally, I am caught up with all the meal worm orders and just waiting for a few checks to clear so I can ship more out. They are growing like mad in this warm, moist spring air. Even though we have had our AC on I keep it on 76 and the mealies say that is okay.
Have you ever stuck your hand down into the bran and frass and felt how warm it is in there????
I had a few mealies go through some snow storms to reach their new owners and they seemed to have done well. They can really generate some ehat when they are well fed.

Happy spring, everyone! Plant a row of goodies in the garden for the mealies!

Amy, I recieved my mealies yesterday and out of the 1000 you sent I had ONLY 1 DEAD WORMIE!! that in itself I find amazing. Thank you so much for all your prompt attention and help. I have them in a storage bin 14"X20" w/wheat bran about 3" deep. I laid out a coupla sheets of paper with a few apple slices and 4-5 4" stalks of celery on top of the paper. Should I do anything more or different? The only drawback to my system is I keep our house at about 65* and our basement is even cooler. I'm wondering if some kind of supplemental heat would be beneficial to raise the temp in the bin itself? Any ideas from the Mealie Mob?

Congrats on your new mealworms. You might want to warm up their bin a little bit? Maybe put them in the warmest part of your house? I got my first beetle yesterday it was very cool. A lot smaller then what I had imagined lol. Bin is full of pupae now so let the reproducing begin!
