Mealworm food?

I have heard that you should feed your mealworms chick starter but not weather it has to be non-medicated or if it's ok to feed medicated. I looked all around town today and all I can find is medicated. What else do mealworms eat? Will it hurt them to eat medicated starter? I have a whole bag of broiler grower that I bought by accident and it would be great if I could use it for my mealworms.

I don't know about mealworms but if they are like earthworms I know you can feed cornmeal to them. Sorry I'm not much help.

Raising meal worms for reptiles, we feed them rolled oatmeal. Any kind of cereal works though.

I just started today. I am using layer crumbles. Dont know if it will work or not.

I use bran (got a 50# bag from the feed store for $8) and also flock raiser crumbles (20% protien). I would not used medicated but would the broiler if not medicated.

I bought some the other day. I googled what they ate and I'm using whole wheat flour. I had a bag in my pantry that I need to use, I cut up a potatoe and threw that in for moisture, so far so good. When my chicks hatch and I buy chick starter I'll switch over to crumble.
