Mealworms at Lowes

Found a 6oz container of mealworms for $6.21 at Lowes on the north side of Chicago (it was in the bird food section by the BOSS and safflower seed). Looks exactly the same as what I got at the local pet store except it's a bigger container and cheaper.

I also got some 2 days ago. The girls go crazy over it. I think Lowes only has this in the springtime. I may pick up another carton.

Fleet Farm has them year round. I mix them into the bird seed for my feeders, they love it.

theyre super easy to breed too. keep em warm, dry ish, give them stuff to eat and let them turn into beetles and you will have a mealworm colony.

Cheap food supply for life!

Picked up a tub tonight at Lowes, but they were $6.99. Still a lot cheaper than the $10 TSC was charging for a 3.5 oz bag.
I also swung by Petsmart and grabbed a couple tubs of live ones for breeding.
