i have a silver laced Wyandotte, and a gold laced Wyandotte, both a year old. I introduced two chickens over seven months ago, one being a bantam. The two Wyandotte pick on her constantly, no feather plucking though. They are also a bit aggressive with my 5 year old granddaughter- any ideas?

Some birds are just mean. I have a RIR and she is a jerk to everyone. She won’t let me pick her up, she’ll chase kids, and goes claws up to your feet. But my barred rock is a sweetie. She let kids near her, I can pick her up, and she almost never pecks. It’s probably just a genetic thing

I found that Wyandotte birds need lots of room.

How much space do they have

Personally I prefer not to keep birds that are mean to flock mates or humans.

Are they actually going after your grand daughter?
I mean actually seeking her out to attack her?
