I'm with @Miss Lydia on this one. I would wait until later in the season until the ducklings are more mature and the drake less hormonal. Would he seriously injure them right now ? Probably not, but why torment them and yourself during the adjustment. There also remains the outside chance that he will never become a good flock animal. There is the outside possibility (depending upon how long they have been together) that he is so strongly bonded to his drake buddy that he will never accept other ducks.
