Mean duck

I have a question about our mean duck

I think he is a drake since he lets out a loud whistle every once in awhile but he is constantly pulling the feathers out of the others and eating them. At this moment I have him in a separate box but this won't last for long..... They run from him. He walks on them and just is a bully. What can I do to correct this or any suggestions. They are about 4 1/2 weeks old. Thank you.

Boy, I'm out of my league on this one, but I think I've heard posters suggest some sort of dietary deficiency (and sometimes that they are just mean and should be culled - though that would be sooooooo hard for me to do).

I have same problem with one call duckling. Have hatched out alot of Muscovy's and never had a mean one. "Grumpy" as we call him/her is 8 wks old and is constantly pecking at siblings . He is much happier out in the pasture by himself. I've considered putting him in with the older ducks and maybe they would teach him some manners. Maybe someone has an answer.
