George wouldn't even come out of her coop today she was sitting on eggs. She never goes back in the coop she always lays her eggs in the pen in one corner. The last few days I didn't think she layed any eggs. I went out to let the ducks out and she just sat there. My mom went out there about an hour later to check on her and she came out but very mad. During this time the mallards were going crazy quacking for her to come out of there. They would run to us quacking and back towards the coop quacking. I'm not sure if she came out on her own or if my mom shooed her out. I don't think we even have a male, because I'm still undecided about one of the mallards. He is to young to mate any ways though so her eggs are not fertile. She had three eggs.She didn't like the mallards at first now she is so protective of them. My grand daughter was holding one (so we could check its foot) and decided to just take it to the coop since it was bed time. George was right at her heels quacking very loudly, my grand daughter was hollering she is going to try to bite me. She was very mad! She was raised a lone duck and liked humans so I don't know what's up with her she is getting so mean lately.
