I don't think you need to keep him separated unless he is drawing blood. He is just working out how to be a rooster or (like someone else said) move up on the hierarchy. But others might have other opinions.

I wouldn't separate him. He needs to find his place in the flock and learn how to be a rooster. Separating would only prolong that.Should I keep him separated alittle longer till he calms down? Is that even possible?
