I am feeding donkeys, goats, sheep, pigs, and peacocks among others. I've lived on the farm as a paying rent person without responsibilities for 2.5mos. I met and now am good friends with the person who fed the animals. I am now taking that role over. It's not a lot, 2 50lb bags of feed, fill water tubs. But, this one peacock out of abt 8 is mean and attacks at morning feed time. It's impossible to stare him down and throw the feed. He waits for that moment. Not sure what to do about that. I haven't started the feeding yet. I don't think treats will work? He's too mean. Maybe a hose. Any advice is greatly appreciated🙏...just joined the site. Very cool.

Wow! Thanks for all the replies. I'm definitely in the right place. The farm is just one big fence. All the animals are together. Obviously, chicken coop isn't. I only had a dog and a cat until 11/23/2021, lol. Feeding time is intense of course. I like the net idea. I'm gonna have to get some goggles and something for the back of my neck. Does anyone think a water hose/gun will work. I only need a few minutes. Then, I can stare him down. One last question plz. If that peacock is relocated, will another male fill that role and do the same. He's the only mean one out of 4. Thanks again for responses.
