mine did the same thing to me and I have always held him and been feeding him since 3 days old , he also goes after my neighbor when she feeds for me but not after other people very unpredictable, I hope he can be fixed or he will have to go

To OP: I hope you get rid of this roo ASAP. Until that happens, you must keep a fence between him and your family at all times, and this must be a fence that he can't fly over. It's unlikely that he will cease his human aggression. The fact that he's directing it at children says he has got to go.
