mean tophat

i have a male tophat and is alpha dog of the coop , but is mean. he will run at you shimmy one of his wings then attack you hoe do i make him nicer to me?

Now this is just what I've read and am no expert but you need to put him in his place. I have a couple young roos and one by one they have all challenged me. I grab them, push them to the ground and hold them there for awhile. This is to show that I am dominate over them. It's worked for me. I do have one that will get all upset if I pick up one of his girls and she makes any noise and he will come over and fluff up. I simply put him in his place again. Hopefully this will work for you. I have cochins and they aren't very aggresive. Good luck!
