Yep, I suggest rubbing those down with some oil, or maybe in their case a good pound.

I have to go do that as well, seems to affect the birds more at this time of year. Thanks for sharing, they are very different!

First pic is a Vietnamese breed called Ga No
2nd Pic also from Vietnam called Dongtao No scaley leg mites their legs naturally come this way...BTW Pics are not mine

Yup, those are some rough lookig birds.. I always called them "Elephantitis chickens", and have recently been looking for information on them- though have found very little. From what i have gotten though, they're occasionally fought in vietnam (very rarely ever though, as there are other games there used for it that are considered better). They're basically the broiler of vietnam, but i can't say as to what they're developed from, and have heard even in vietnam they're fairly rare due to being poor layers and seem to be low in popularity as i don't believe they're fast growers. The vietnam government issued a law to preserve them and other breeds though...

I've seen Cornish x outgrow their skin, and the stretched skin is nasty red and bare, no feather follicles. I'll bet these legs may have outgrown the scales.
