I have a hen that has an upper respitory infection. Ran to feed & seed, bought Duramycin-10 powder form. I'm going to treat them all since I heard 2 others sneeze today.
Back of bag says to use 400mg per gallon of water. They have a 5 gallon waterer. How much is that exactly?

Well....if my math is right, for 5 gallons you would need 2000mg, which converts to apprx 0.07 oz

Perhaps a local pharmacy has something you could use to measure with!!!

We bought a food scale at walmart (one of the nicer ones - digital) which will measure in grams, and also do conversions if you wish.

Well worth it.

Thank you. That helped a lot & now my babies are medicated.
