at 8 weeks what did they weigh? That seems awful young to butcher dual purpose breeds. most should be 16 to 20 for 4 or 5 pound dressed bird.

I raise them and a number of other people do, Excellent dual purpose bird and fun to look at. They dont have much variety in colour, but lots of variety in how those two colours are applied.

They lay very productivly and are well known for quality meat as well.
