meat bird feed amounts

I am raising a flock og 30 meat birds. I usually put unlimited food out for them but this time experimented with limiting food. They are 4 weeks old and get 2+ lbs. of grower cal day. They are developing a bulging crop and are always very hungry. I am afraid they are eating their bedding. I have increased their feed but I cant treat 20 bulging crops...Any advice?

You need to define bulging crop? Just bc its full doesn't mean its bulging. It could be just full and how they process the food. I would lay down as much regular food as they will eat. If they are under 24 weeks I would continue them on medicated chick feed until your ready to harvest them

I have raised a lot of chickens and you can clearly see the crop distended out and firm. They are for meat and only will live 8-12 weeks. They are off medicated feed. Thanks!
