Meat bird other than cornish- Turkens???

How long would they take to get big enough to eat? No clue on this here...my brother and i just want to try meat birds next year, not cornish cross. Only a few as we don't have freezer. What other breed would work? Plymouth rocks? Thank you!

Look up J. M. Hatchery they have freedom rangers which is a slow grow broiler. Awesome people with an awesome product! S & G Hatchery also have several crosses of meat birds including a naked neck.
