the kids here that show at the houston livestock show, they feed turkey chow from purina 24 hrs. They usually start with 75 chicks. those that die or have leg problems get culled until you end up with 3 best looking meat birds. by the time they get to the show at 6 weeks, they look like mini turkeys. but if you want to win, that's what you have to do.
