Meat chickens and feeding them

I am watching and caring for my son's meat chickens. While his family is at the fair. I am caring for 12 of them. Now my question
How much feed do I put in 3 pound feeders daily.He is using crumble feed. I filled it three fourth full and it's gone the next morning. When I go down to care and feed and water them the next morning. They are going to the butcher in 6 days. Can I over feed meat chickens?They are healthy and fat. I have only taken care of layers before.

Did he tell you what feeding regime he is using?
There are different ways to feed meat birds, especially Cornish Cross.
