So I will be starting my meat chickens very early this year. There will more than likely be some very cold days during their growth
My delivery day for chicks will be mid March. I have that covered as I have a very good box built for chick's. My concern will be moving to the coop. Other than heat, should I be looking for any other concerns?
Thanks

What breed are you getting for your meat birds?
Ditto Dat.....and....how many birds?
...and.....
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

I raise white Cornish, 15 at a time. I will start another 15, 6 weeks after my early birds. I can get the early birds out of the coop by the time my chick's are ready to go into the coop.

We have broiler eggs in the incubator, due March 5th so that's early too.. But then I don't yet know if their fertile, one day next week I'll candle.. Welp has the cx on sale at a $1.30 each..
