Meat rabbits raised on grass/weeds ONLY?

A rabbits diet is made up if 80% fresh Timothy hay. It's very important for digestion and for keeping their teeth down.
If you're raising them for meat you'll probably want to actaully have some meat on them, so just weeds and grass would not only be unhealthy but would leave them quite lean and skinny.

Most people that raise rabbits for meat provide them with unlimited pellets. Pet rabbits should really only have ¼ a cup of pellets a day, but if you want to fatten them up you can provide more.

You should also provide them with fresh veggies for breakfast and dinner.

Just avoid tomatoes and iceberg lettuce, and fruit with seeds.

I recommend you do plenty of research before deciding to get any.
