Meat Rabbits

So we have decided to raise meat rabbits colony style. If you have seen any of my other posts. You already know I love pallets so here is my colony set up. It’s placed inside the area we’re we are building our high tunnel livestock barn. In the mean time I plan to cover with tarp on rain possible days and use construction fence the orange stuff on nice day. Let me know what you all think. I also have attached a pic of our Californian doe we are getting n she will be bred before she comes. As well the birthing burrow idea I plan to use

Looks cool. Will you be wrapping the pallets with anything? Even a grown rabbit could get through the slats.
