Meaties 3 dead

I have 27 meaties now I have been watching them like a hawk 2 weeks they lived in my house and no matter what I did the smell was horrible so we have a brooder/rabbit hut outside I moved the to I have heat lamps and a mini heater on them protection from the wind and food and water. the all seem happy til yesterday and this morning I have lost 3 they were smothered by others laying on them . I know I will lose some but is there anything I can do to stop the smothering ? I

sounds like they are getting cold at night and huddling too much try a heat lamp

I have a heat lamp on them and a small heater on them also

oh maybe they have too much heat? are they huddling under the heat or away from it? they may have just died too they do that i have noticed mine are not the brightest chicks on the block lol

there huddling under it They have now moved to the shed the DH is going to be thrilled about that one seems no matter where there at and how warm it is they still pile up on top of each other ? in the shed they have heat lamps on half the other side is warm no lamp
