meaties in the rain?

I typically free range my birds during the day, but it's been raining off and on all day. Can I open the big coop doors anyway? Will they be smart enough to go in out of the rain or will they stand outside and get soaked?

I give all my birds the option to come or go in the rain.. Mostly they just stay outside and look for worms... YUmmy
