We are in the process of purchasing a house just outside of Media PA. It is located in Middletown Township (Delaware County). We have always wanted chickens and I am in the process of planning a coup / run build. The house sits on around 1 acre of property so we have more than enough room. I did find the local code but looking for some clarification (Section 63-2 https://ecode360.com/13257914)

A few questions I am hoping you guys can help with:
1. Are there any restrictions on owning chickens in Middletown Township?
2. Is there a limit to the number of chickens we can own?
3. Are there any restrictions to where i can build the coup? (setback on property lines)
4. Any recommendations on where to purchase chicks locally?
5. Where do you guys purchase feed locally?
