Why do this chick's wings flare out like this? Is it just how its feathers are growing?

I've attached a few pictures, including one of its wing spread out.

It's worth noting that this chick has had me concerned since I got them home. It seems to sleep more than the others. It does eat and drink on its own. It seems to fuss a lot though. I gave it electrolytes after I got it home, which it drank. I just don't feel like it's as active as the rest.

I got them Sunday morning.

Again, I could be wrong, but I *think* that extra "floof" may also be a frizzle thing...
I did look up frizzle bantam cochins, and they do look very much like this chick, so maybe that's all this is. I swear I haven't worried this much about living things since my children were babies! Lol. I'm a helicopter chicken parent!

I feel that! I'm the exact same way when I have little ones. That's why I took a break from getting more - it's exhausting worrying about them all day and night (but worth it, too)!

They just seem so darn fragile (especially the bantams)!!

Yes they do! But you're right, they're definitely worth it.
