Medicated Chick food

If you feed baby chicks medicated chick feed, are you suppose to add grit or sand for them to eat as well???

i use it and i dont add anything
the chick after a while would find its own grit any way

They do not need grit if all they're eating is chick starter, medicated or not. If they eat anything that needs grinding, yes, add grit if they aren't on the ground to find it for themselves.
