Anyone know if it is safe to eat the eggs of hens eating medicated feed? We recently moved our chicks into the coop with the big girls and they have had access to some of the medicated feed. From what I could find on-line most websites said to refer to feed bag's instructions regarding recommended time before consuming eggs. I can't find this anywhere...

Depends on the meds. If it's just Amprolium, there is no withdrawal since it's a thiamine blocker, not an antibiotic, like Bacitracin. Check out the label on it and see what meds are in the starter. I personally dont feed anything with anything more than Amprolium. That is no problem for your hens or eggs.
