medicated feed bad for GOSLINGS???

Is medicated chick starter ok to feed 10 day old baby geese? My husband just surprised me with 6 babies and its all i have to feed them until tomorrow.

Ducks and goslings shouldnt be fed medicated feed. They eat so much, that they could overdose on the medication.

it may not cause problems, but they certainly do not benefit from it. The best choice for ducklings and goslings, esp ones that are not being raised with chickens, go with the non medicated feed.

Taking penicillin won't hurt you if you're not sick, but why take unnecessary meds?
