One of my roosters is scheduled to be re-homed to a flock wanting a rooster. With a strong chance of protozoa being different, sending him with a bag of medicated would be best for all? Thoughts?

Who wouldn't use a free bag of food? lol
You would be surprised.
We have re-homed some kittens in the past, and gave them all a bag of food to get them started. Then, with one of the kittens it didn't work out for them, and they asked us to take her back.
When we went to collect her, they also gave us back the bag of food! (And it had been a couple of months, plenty of time for them to feed it to her)
