I am always leery of feed that claim they are for a specific purpose but then don't list the ingredients that are readily found on feed tags from other sources. They are not willingly letting you know what the levels of lysine, methionine and niacin are so how can you know if it is a quality feed?Just read two conflicting answers on google. Thanks, was just worried that one google opinion stated it would kill them, while another said its fineI am always leery of feed that claim they are for a specific purpose but then don't list the ingredients that are readily found on feed tags from other sources. As far as the conflict between medicated or non medicated goes, it is simply the buyer's choice. @PeepsCA fed a medicated turkey or gamebird starter and always recommended that as a preferred option.
Medicated turkey or gamebird starter can be hard to find because there is a problem having amprolium in feeds that contain bentonite. I feed a non medicated turkey or gamebird starter. It is what is available to me and it works for me.
There is no right or wrong answer . Use medicated or use non medicated, it is your choice.
