Medicated Feed Question

I have a broody sitting on one egg right now. I am going to let her hatch it out because the hen that laid it was killed. So anyway, that is why there is one egg. My question is, since I have one healthy hen and one healthy rooster do I really need to put the chick on medicated food when it hatches? Thanks!

I would too. Healthy or not, they all get exposed to coccidiosis unless you live in an extremely dry climate.

Yes, thanks! I will do that then. Which means a second round of medicated for some. Hope it is OK. Better safe than sorry.
