Medicated feed??

Hi! I'm a newbie here and I keep seeing people mentioning feeding medicated feed to their chicks. My chickens are 3 months old, I got them from a local feed store and they gave me Start & Grow but not the medicated kind. Should I have given them medicated feed?

Hi Amber first off

I wouldnt worry to much, if you get a chance to get a bag just put them on it or wait till you run out then start them on it. Med It helps prevent cocci.... Just make sure you keep them on dry clean bedding...
