medicated food?

Hello folks-

Can someone tell me after feeding medicated food when can I start eating my eggs from 18 weeks old hens. Should I wait a week or two after starting the layer food?

If it is medicated with amprolium, the manufacturers say the eggs are safe to eat at any time. The explanation is that very little of the amprolium is absorbed by the chicken, rather it stays in the gut, so it never gets to the egg. I used to have a Purina link saying this; you can probably find it on their website if you wish.
