medicated game bird starter

ive searched here and didnt really find what I was looking for and was hoping someone could help. I have coturnix eggs about to hatch next week and bought some local feed that is medicated with amprolium at 0.0175% per 50 pound bag. If over medicating is a worry can I mix purina flock raiser with this to lessen the chances of them getting too much meds. Thanks for taking time to respond

It won't hurt them to use the medicated feed. If you mix anything into this medicated feed, make sure it is not of lesser protein, or you will be lowering the overall protein level. I would just go ahead and feed the medicated stuff. They will be fine.

X-2 on that 2CR ..Around here its hard to find feed that ain't medicated..So I use it lots ..cva34

Thanks a bunch for your answers. I'm happy to be able to feed them the medicated because I can't find anything else plus what I got is $7 for a 50# bag locally which is a pretty decent price
