Hello today i had gone out and bought 10kg growers pellets and 10k layers pellets but the layers one is medicated and the shopkeeper said if you eat the eggs of hens that eat medicated feed it is harmful as it acts as a wormer aswell

Should i let them eat it at start of week one day put them on a different feed the rest of the week and at the end of week the eat the new eggs laid

What country and what is the medication on the ingredient list?
It is really impossible to answer the question without knowing the chemical/s used.
Commercially available layer feeds here almost never have any meds in them.
The bulk of medicated feed here is starter and contains amprolium for coccidiosis.

I wouldn't use it or feed it until I knew what was in it.

Are you sure you got that correct? They might put the AMP in grower but not usually in the layer feed as the risk of coccidiosis is more when they are young than as an adult. Check the feed bag.
