Medicated or Non Medicated Food

I have just rec. 50 new babies from MM Hatchery and I was told if the chicks rec. Shots for Marecks then you should feed non medicated food and I would like to know if this is true. Hopefully someone will be able to help me with this! Thanks in advance.......

Mareks has nothing to do with medicated feed. Feed is medicated against coccidiosis, not mareks. If you had them vaccinated for cocci, then you would feed non-med feed.
