Medicated versus Nonmedicated starter feed? Looking for feedback pls.

Oh I knew you weren't having any problems this was just the first I heard someone using medicated for quail... That is a great pic and a great hatch....

Perhaps I need to rethink our feed regiment though they appear to all be healthy and active...

If your method is working I wouldn't change a thing. Alot of stuff that comes out on the groups is don't do this or don't do that or your birds will all drop dead tomorrow. I've learned to take it all with a big grain of salt. If you have a system that is working go with it. We have different types of birds so all the "game" type get the same thing, the SS 28% - turkeys, quail,peafowl. It just makes it easier on us and works. all the rest get the SS 19% start n grow. One exception was this year we got some SQ gray runners from Holdereads and they got special feed.

i use 30% startena from birth to cull. I believe it's medicated. They seem to love it
