are there any meds i need to give my chicks??

I am by no means an expert, but, when we brought home our chicks we read a lot of posts that say to not give them medicated feed. Most people seem to agree although some people say they do and don't have a problem. Our original batch of chickens did just great! Good luck and enjoy them

that depends on:

Are they sick?

are you wanting to raise them organically?

were they vaccinated at the hatchery?

I bought a chicken health pack from mcmurray just to be safe if there was an emergency.

well they are guineas and they just hatched but i want to handle them a lot so they are friendly and i just didnt want them to get sick because of our people germs and i got them at the local feed store but i dont think they were vaccinated.should i raise them organicly?? oh i just dont know... im so new to all of this!!!
