"But- I-" Skye stuttered. "Watch this?" He suggested. He tried, again, to copy Alice's moves, but as he lunged at one of the meerkats, they moved out of the way, and Skye ended up face-planting on the hard ground. "Ow!" He yelled as he got up, rubbing his snout gingerly.

Alice watched this time. She laughed a little at his failure, but quickly brought herself back to her surroundings. She swiftly ran to Skye's side. "You're leaving the ground too far away." She corrected Skye. "At least for your speed. You need to go faster, then use your body weight to knock your victim down."

(Oh, ok. Thanks anyways. :) )

"Oh," he said, a little embarrassed. He tried, for a third time, and finally managed to jump onto a fighting meerkat's back, sinking in his claws. "WHAT NOW!?" He shouted, as the meerkat tried to bite him.

"Defeat him!" She shouted back. She got down low like she was going to jump towards them. She locked her eyes on Skye's victim like she was some fierce predator, not a Meerkat.

Skye let out a shriek, thinking Alice was about to attack him, and lost his grip on the meerkat. As he was scrambling for a hold, his claws slashed across the meerkat's back, and he managed to give it an accidental hard kick, before he fell off. Skye looked from his own claws and then to the meerkat, then back again. "Wait- did I do it? I did it!" He ran up to Alice. "Did you see that!? I DID IT!"

Alice stopped. Skye's shriek confused her. She looked at the other meerkat, and it looked like what Skye did, worked. "Well," she said to herself out loud, "everyone's got their own method to fighting." She now spoke to Skye, "Guess that works for you. You did it!"

Her threatening approach was enough to scare off the other Meerkat who was slightly cowardly, which slightly disappointed her. She looked at Skye to see who he was doing, just to see him shrugging.

"What are you doing?" Alice asked Skye running over. She leaped over another Meerkat on the way, and jumped low just to purposely knock one off the other. "You're supposed to be fighting! Not just standing there!" She practically yelled at Skye. Obviously she didn't see what he had done, just him not fighting in the fight around them.

(Random question: Are we RPing with any of the Kuku characters in this fight?)

"Ow!" said Carad "Sir! I can't believe I'm saying this, but Hank is right! We need to fall back!!!" Carad, Crescent, and Hank are waiting for Acacia's orders.
