Meet Crow

Here's the newest member of our flock...Crow!



Years ago I got him at a farmer's market when my Dad was visiting around Father's Day. Dad's been gone for over 4 years now and Mom recently gave Crow back to me. Great memories and what a wonderful use for old tools!

If I had a stash of old gardening tools, I'd be tempted to try making a chicken out of them, sort of like someone did with Crow. A chicken would be fun to try!

It took me a minute to realize what crow was made out of. I love to see people reusing common items and making art out of them.

I love Crow. My sister used to have a lot of birds made from garden tools - I couldn't afford them. On the Washington state thread a member called Chicken Rustler made a lot of animals our of scrap metal. I don't know if he still does it.

Thanks @drumstick diva ! It would be a nice talent to be able to make 'treasure out of trash' like Chicken Rustler and whoever made Crow.
