NPIP is easy its free all you have to do is call A&M 979-845-4186 they will connect you to the poultry division and tell you who tests in your area then you call them direct just get ready for a wait. The way they explained it to me was that there are only 3 testers in Texas and they are spread a little thin it can take months before they get to you no matter what they tell you. We buy, sell, trade poultry, gamebirds, eggs. We also are very aware that we are addicted to these birds. I am constantly building new coops, cages, pens. I really like mobile coops my best is rated for the interstate. A swap sounds great but it would be alot better with birds.

I am going to call and make an appointment when my chicks get close to the age of 16 weeks when they can be tested. I think I will call and ask to be put on the list earlier though.

If all goes well I should be NPIP by September so I was thinking I would hold it in October.

If people want to bring birds/hatching eggs they will have to have their NPIP proof, and for people who dont have it can just come and meet/greet/sell/trade other things.

I am thinking this could be alot of fun if we could make it happen.

Right now I am hatching some nice chick and may have some at point of lay for sale by october.
