Meet good old Eddie

Just had an egg at that time. Two more have been laid since and cats found nest.

Eddies mom was Sallie that was incubator hatched in early 2010. Sallie hatched out her son in 2012.

Sallie back in 2011 on her first clutch. I lost her to a storm and fox about 7 years later.

This image of Sallie and her first brood of 2012. Eddie is one of those chicks.

Video of my son with Sallie and again with Eddie as one of the chicks.

Shellie is a six generations removed from Sallie on the father's side and three Sallies side. The fathers were all Sallies sons by that same line breeding arrangement. Lots of line breeding.

Shellie is genetically very close to Sallie, Eddie's mom.

Some information I mined from old thread below.

Shelly doing a couple behavior changes as she is about halfway into filling her clutch. In the evening she has gotten serious about scratching my bedsheets and as of today began consuming drywall. Giving her lots of live mealworms stopped the bed sheet scratching. She is also producing a lot more poop. Tomorrow she get access to oyster shell.

Curious. Is she laying, or setting?
