Introducing Greta- our girl who we believe could potentially be a roo.
I imagine she is around 4-5 weeks and leaning towards (breed) sapphire gem.
We named her Greta van flock because early on she becomes noticeably bigger than the others, and the other girls tend to flock to her like she runs the roost. Lastly, my favorite band is Greta Van Fleet, and I thought it was a great name for her lol.
I know it’s still early to tell and I should be more patient. Either way Greta is definitely the mother hen or Papa Roo of the flock.

Wing sexing doesn't work.
By that I mean *it only works in super-specific crossbreeds that were bred for it* and for some reason that is just not a widely known fact!

But sorry - Greta is a Grant/George/Graham. Way too big of a comb at this age to be a pullet, even a fast-developing one. :(

Wing sexing only works if the bird is specifically bred for it. That large of a comb at that age has me leaning male though.

I am so glad you mentioned that cause I have heard mixed reviews about this method. Thanks for the feedback :)

I have heard mixed reviews on this method, so thank you for clarity. This is my first flock, so I am no expert by any means. I appreciate the feedback and new name suggestions :)
