Meet Hansel and Gretel!

I hope I'm doing this correctly.....here are a couple of pictures of my goslings, Hansel and Gretel. It's my first experience with geese and I am so in love with them!

Gretel is the one with the larger gray saddle. I was concerned that she was developing Angel Wing but taped her up last Friday evening. When I removed the tape Monday night, her wings are perfect!!

I've seen Pomeranians at shows. I'll be curious to see how big they get. They're listed as a small/medium breed.

They are about 10 weeks old now. They love eating grass and playing in water. At night I put them in the barn with the chickens and they do fine. The chickens are actually a little afraid of them and don't bother them at all.

They will follow me all around the place when I let them out. They tend to freak out when I try to pick them up, but I read on this forum that it's just their instinct. Once I get them on my lap, they will actually settle down and doze off.

I don't think I'll ever be w/o geese again.
