I actually live about 45 minutes from New Orleans.. I grew up in the surrounding suburbs near New Orleans... but everybody knows that if you are at least within 100 miles from NO... you just say your from Nawlins dawlin!
Oh... there is a video that I will post around Christmas (cuz it’s a Christmas song) of a local group from NO... it’ll give you a real idea of the Nawlins accent!

I'm very glad you are safe.Oh... no. We missed both of them... whew! The first one was nothing much of anything.. but this second one, Laura.. is pretty bad.. it’s headed towards the Texas Louisiana boarder... a friend of mine that lives in Lake Charles Louisiana is coming to stay out this way.. we are housing one of her daughters which is the girls friend.... and some of her animals. Lake Charles will get hit the hardest...
