Some of my hens are terrified of the pool cover and don't want to walk on it. So they try to fly the length of the pool to get from the coop to the deck. These pictures will help you to visualize the situation. Sydney, in the picture, could care less about walking on the pool cover.

This might sound weird but one thing I LOVE about frigid temps is frozen chicken poop!! Let me explain.... Bob ...... as some of you know I scoop poop off the sand every morning and it has been such a breeze with it all in hard frozen clumps!
I guess that’s not too weird after all.... coming from me

Oh my goodness...that camel is certainly excited that it's hump day... Seriously, I didn't know they would move like that!

You don't have to worry about me going out, I'm in my lazy clothes, under my heated blanket and trying to stay awake

We take so much for granted. How beautiful those flakes are, they don't even look real.

We really do! When @WhoDatChick shared these I realized that I hadn't even looked at the snow we have up close and when was the last time I did? So, I'm waiting to see if we get any new snow, so I can enjoy the individual designs!
