The last time I shared pics, I had eggs hatching, chicks growing out etc.
I mean, not much has changed, we have chicks growing out, and 17 Pullets/hens. (Excluding my day olds).
Thought I’d update with photos including breed / colour and a fun fact about each!

Noting: our breed standards /how some look are different to America etc!

Called wonky because of her toe. She has to follow me around. Wasn’t “my chicken” was one of my kids. She’s chosen me to be her human, and won’t leave me alone now lol

She can be feisty, but she’s honestly one of the best mamas I have in my flock

She l sounds like she tries to think sometimes . She’s our oldest chook (about 2.5-3?)
She’s very pretty

Mrs Doubtfire (aka Mrs D) - Gold & Blue partridge Brahma

My OG girl
In her short 1 year life span so far she has:
Been broody twice - first time she raised 3 different age groups of chicks.
Had surgery for her eye
Recovered and beat the odds
I have the biggest soft spot for her.

And yes, her name is Mrs Doubtfire because she runs like “help is on the way dear”
