This is the first every turkey I have ever owned and I just brought it home a couple of hours ago. So far, it's just been frozen in shock and not really moving. It will chirp a little if I touch it. After leaving the room for a few minutes, I could hear it calling out, but then gets silent and still when I come back in. Hopefully it adjusts quickly!
Anyone have any suggestions to names? I am really really hoping for a hen to put out with my chickens, so girl names would be more welcome than boys!
