Meet "Oreo" - am I a Pullet or a Roo?

Hi this is my Oreo she/he is six weeks old. I originally thought it was a Barred Plymouth Rock but now I'm beginning to wonder if its a Black Araucana. Also not sure what sex it is.


I have two Cream leghorns - a hen and a Cockriel, a Barred Plymouth Rock Cockriel and this one. So I'm really hoping this one is a hen. She's so pretty and gentle and cheeky. I'm hoping to keep her/him

I'm pretty sure this is a mix. That little crest wouldn't be on either of the breeds you suggested. As for sex, wait a few weeks and post an updated photo. Right now, I want to say roo...but, that is merely a guess based on overall look of the bird.

Hmm thanks for replying The breeder has lots of rare breeds so heaven knows. Time will tell I suppose.

The only breed I can think of that might work would be Crevecoer...
