Very cute! We got ours from Ideal Thurdsay too! Doing awesome. Although we ordered 16 and received 8 RIR fillers. We say we will have chicken stew...but...

when you all say you got fillers. Does that mean you got the ones your ordered, and the fillers are free ones or what? I think it might be a silly question, but I am not sure what you mean.

RIR is my favorite breed. If I had received RIR packing peanuts I would let the grow for awhile to see if any turned out to be pullets. Then I would re-home the roosters. However, I won't be getting any packing peanuts because I buy all my chicks locally. (Some are from feed stores that buy them from the major hatcheries. I let them deal with the shipping.)
